A PIN is any five digits you choose (except all zeros) to use as your electronic signature.  Benefits of\u00a0e-file\u00a0with an Electronic Signature:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>It&#8217;s simple!<\/li>\n<li>Create your own PIN using any 5 digits (other than all zeros).<\/li>\n<li>No registration required.<\/li>\n<li>No calls to the IRS to get a PIN.<\/li>\n<li>No paper signature document to mail in.<\/li>\n<li>Proof of Acceptance!<\/li>\n<li>Use it as your electronic signature.<\/li>\n<li>Your tax software will guide you through the process.<\/li>\n<li>Your tax professional can tell you about it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are two methods of signing individual income tax returns with an electronic signature available for taxpayers.
